Do you dream of mastering the art of giving gus and creating magical sauna experiences? On our Gusmester Course — Weekend course you will get both theory and practice, so you can become a confident, competent and inspiring master.

What you learn

Day 1 — Foundation, hosting and technology

Learn the basic principles, safety and ethics of the sauna, and get to grips with the role of the gusmaster. We dive into:

• How to create peace of mind and atmosphere in the sauna

• Communication before, during and after gus

• Structure, flow and heat distribution in a gas round

• Physiological effects of heat and cold

• Essential oils, natural fragrance extracts and fan technology

All this is combined with practical exercises directly in the sauna, so you can immediately turn theory into action.

Day 2 — Your own practice and gusmarathon

Now it's all about you! You will have the opportunity to:

• Plan and prepare your own gusset with theme, scents and music

• Practice and fine-tune flow and timing with feedback

• Complete your own gusset during a gas marathon where you show what you have learned
