Children's Saunagus
We offer special saunagus sessions for children, where special attention is paid to children's needs and safety. Children's saunagus is a milder version of the traditional sauna, designed to create a relaxing and comfortable experience for the youngest.
Age limit
Children's saunagus is for children from 6 to 15 years old. Children under 6 years of age cannot attend saunagus sessions.
Important guidelines
- Parents or guardians must be present throughout the session and take responsibility for the well-being of children.
- The temperature in the sauna will be lower than in traditional saunagus, and the sessions will be shorter to ensure that the children have a pleasant experience.
- Children should drink plenty of water before and after the session to avoid dehydration.
What is included
The experience consists of three rounds of approximately 10 minutes, during which the Gus Master guides the children through a sensual journey filled with warmth, fragrance and play.
Along the way, mild, child-friendly essential oils such as orange, lavender and peppermint are used that create a calming or refreshing effect. Stories, fantasy journeys and fun games make the experience both exciting and relaxing.
Between rounds, there's the option to guilt-trip under a cold shower or dip into our larch ice vats, providing a refreshing contrast to the heat.
Children's house lasts a total of 60 min. It is a great way to introduce them to the wellness and beneficial effects of the sauna — all in a safe and cozy setting.

About Poppelly Wellness
The Hot Path to Wellness
Welcome to Poppelly Saunagus. A sauna with a real wood stove that creates a particularly authentic and cozy atmosphere, where the heat from the wood stove adds an extra dimension of naturalness and presence. Here you get an experience of a natural crackling sound universe and a warmth that ensures you have a great sauna. The heat from a wood-burning stove has a very special quality, which differs significantly from other heat sources. The Story of Poppelly
Poppelly is a 19th-century farmhouse. The farm appears very authentic for its time and is a trademark of the district of Lille Havdrup The three thatched buildings on the property were constructed in 1817, and consist of a main house and two barn- barn buildings. The property is inscribed in the building history of the heath community with its combined longhouses, narrow courtyard, farmhouse located to the north, cross-glazed windows, flimsy half-timbering and thatched gable roofs with crow's feet. The window frames and windsheath are traditionally painted with the contrasting colour red to the white window frames and black/brown gable boards respectively. Museum South East Denmark inspected the property, and estimates that Lille Havdrupvej 12 fits into a distinctive and typical cultural environment. The property is preserved intact. The property forms part of a uniform cultural environment of other similar and contemporaneous country buildings on Lille Havdrupvej.
