The Story of Poppelly
Poppelly is a 19th-century farmhouse. The farm appears very authentic for its time and is a trademark of the district of Lille Havdrup

The three thatched buildings on the property were constructed in 1817, and consist of a main house and two barn- barn buildings.

The property is inscribed in the building history of the heath community with its combined longhouses, narrow courtyard, farmhouse located to the north, cross-glazed windows, flimsy half-timbering and thatched gable roofs with crow's feet. The window frames and windsheath are traditionally painted with the contrasting colour red to the white window frames and black/brown gable boards respectively.

Museum South East Denmark inspected the property, and estimates that Lille Havdrupvej 12 fits into a distinctive and typical cultural environment. The property is preserved intact.

The property forms part of a uniform cultural environment of other similar and contemporaneous country buildings on Lille Havdrupvej.
